Lagos driver brutalise 6-Year old minor, as Idimu DPO arrest & arraign suspect in court

Considering the vision and mission of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State. CP Jimoh Moshood which aimed at curtailing all forms of crimes prompted the swift response by the Idimu Divisional Police Station led by CSP Agatha Eze who rescue a Minor aged {6 yrs} through distress call.

Newsbusta Online uncovered how a thirty-three year old driver in Lagos State, Tayo Arowolo in Idimu area of the state, brutalised a six-year old girl, Maria Arowolo, a sibling of his pregnant partner who lives with them.

The unmarried expectant mother, Adejoke, an indigene of Ikire, Osun State revealed that Tayo battered the little Maria over her failure to understand her studies while an infuriated Tayo was coaching her.

The incident happened at No.9 Oba Amusa Sumbo street, Idimu residence.

In an exclusive engagement with Adejoke, according to her She said, she became furious when she discovered the injury and claimed she was outside on an errand when the incident happened.

The victim was the last born in the family of an heavily pregnant Adejoke. Tayo was said to have used belt and slippers to inflict the injuries on the victim.

Tayo, a school certificate holder, who works as a driver in Lagos hails from Ibadan, Oyo State.

It was gathered that days after the incident, the flesh wounds got worse due to lack of medical care before neighbours who noticed the severity took the victim to a nearby hospital and invited the police.

When contacted by our crime and defence correspondent for comments, the Divisional Police Officer, Idimu Police Station, CSP Agatha Eze, confirmed the incident.

She said the incident happened last week Monday at the couples residence in Idimu area of Lagos State, but was reported on Wednesday, prompting the police to quickly swing into action immediately.

In a related development, Idimu Divisional Police Officer, CSP Agatha Eze said the victim has been rescued and currently undergoing medical treatment while the suspect will be arraigned at the Ogba Magistrates Court for further Disciplinary action.
