Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State ex-governor, was on Wednesday arraigned at the FCT High Court in Abuja, hijacked the control of courtroom crowd at the time Justice Maryann Anenih left out of anger.
Justice Maryann Anenih, was supposed to take the plea of the ex-governor and two others before suddenly rose and made known that she would not return into the courtroom until it settles.
Following Justice Anenih’s leave, Yahaya Bello, who was formerly sitting in the front of the courtroom, jumped and moved towards the crowd directing his court audience to leave the courtroom.
Everyone left the courtroom one after the other without waiting.
Yahaya Bello sat at the entrance of the courtroom and made sure none of his followers disobeyed the court’s order.
All his aides and followers patiently obeyed his instructions and exited the court one by one.
Meanwhile, Kemi Pinheiro SAN is leading the federal government’s legal team for the arraignment, while Joseph Bodunde Dauda SAN is leading the legal team for the former governor in the 16-count charges.
