Shehu Abdullahi has given reasons behind his return to the Kano Pillars, stating that his love and warmth from the club was the reason he decided. to return back to the club. He rejoined the Sai Masu Gida for a second time last week.
The 31-year-old, had between the years of (2012 – 2014), been the four-time champion in the book of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), before forging ahead to abroad.
He said, “I’m happy to be here, Kano Pillars is our club, everyone is proud of it. It is always a dream to see us come back to where we started our journey,” Abdullahi told Kano Pillars media.
“Kano is a home to us, they always welcome us. They were always sending us messages when we were playing in Europe to come back to play. We are happy we’re here, and hopefully we’ll make them happy as well.”
