Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) members, which was an affiliate of the Nigeria Labour Congress has restricted the usage of the entry and exit gate to the National Assembly.
The early bird workers who arrived in the office early to monitor the compliance met the entrance and exit gates blocked with two coastal buses packed.
The alternative gate which would have been another entry to the annex building for workers was also blocked with both NLC and TUC officials on standby to implement and monitor the strike.
Newsmen tried speaking with some officials from both union but all efforts failed as they claimed to lack powers to speak with the press, rather they adviced the press to contact presidents of both unions to attend to their inquiries.
