Four gang of suspected men had on Thursday been apprehended in Ebonyi State by members of the Neighbourhood Watch in Afikpo Local Government Area for allegedly stealing transformers and electricity wires in different parts of the country.
The suspects were from one of the states in South-South and on a mission to steal a transformer in Akpoha, Afikpo Local Government Area where they were arrested by the members of the Neighbourhood watch at the verge of carrying the transformer.
They came in the company of an indigene of Akpoha who is currently at large as alledged.
The Commander of the Neighbourhood Watch, Mr. Michael Urom with his men, arrested the suspects, called upon the general public to report any suspicious actions or persons to security agencies for prompt action while the suspects had already been handed over to the police.
