Senator Shehu Sani, who is the Former lawmaker and social critic, had on Monday, made it known that Nigerians should concentrate on how rising prices of food and cost of living ravaging the nation will reduce.
Sanni, made the statement following the winning of the Ivorian national team over the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday in the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Sanni, on his X social media handle wrote, “AFCON Cup gone, we can now face Cup of Garri.”
Recall that the International Monetary Fund (IMF), lamented that Nigeria is going through a deepening economic crisis in a recently published report titled ‘Review of Nigeria’s Post Financing Assessment.’
The IMF executive board stated that the stagnant per-capital growth, poverty, food inflation and others has affected the persistent cost-of-living crisis in Nigeria.
