The Police Service Commission has made it known that it has not officially announced examination date for applicants in the ongoing Nigerian Police Force recruitment into the Constable cadre.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, enjoined applicants to disregard presently circulating dates on the social media as the commission will not allow the exercise to be hijacked in order to dupe innocent Nigerians and examination dates would be officially announce to notify applicants who were successful from the screening exercise.
The Commission directed the Police Cyber-crime Unit to investigate the source of the trending publication and quickly arrest the culprits for prosecution.
The Commission advised prospective applicants to disregard “any communication or updates on the ongoing recruitment exercise that are not officially issued by the Commission through its recognised media platforms.
“Applicants are advised to exercise patience and await the Commission’s official statement on the date for the examination.
“The date will also be formally communicated to shortlisted applicants who were successful from the screening exercise.”
