The Ex-President of the United State of America, Donald Trump has been reckoned to win the Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary just a few minutes after the final polls closed.
He defeated Nikki Haley, who happens to be his main rival for the nomination of the Republican Party, while Trump is also the first non-incumbent GOP candidate in the modern era to win both Iowa and New Hampshire.
Trump secured 146,577 representing 54.2%, while Haley polled 118,027 standing for 43.7% as at the time of filing thie report.
Donald Trump, had in his speech with Fox News Digital’s Brooke Singman said, “I’m very honored by the result.”
Meanwhile, Haley once served two-term as former South Carolina governor, U.N. ambassador in his administration.
Harley, in her congratulation speech to Trump over his victory, said: New Hampshire, after the race was called, “race is far from over.”
“I want to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory tonight. He earned it and I want to acknowledge that.
“This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go. And next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”
