Nigeria Interior Minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo surpasses predecessors within 100 days of duty

The Nigeria interior Minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has achieved what his predecessors were unable to achieve for several years within his 100 days in office.

Below are his achievement within an hundred days in Office.

1. Backlog of international passports which he met in office were cleared by Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
2. Engagement of private sector to raise over N500m fines owed by over 4,000 prison inmates, that makes correctional centers decongested.
3. Technology introduced in border security.
4. Nigeria passport application were automated, 99% completed.
5. E-gate were introduced in international airports, this brings reduction in physical contacts with immigration officers.
6. Passport processing reduced to two weeks.
