Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa, has explained why terrorism persists in the country despite the huge budget allocation the military receives every year.
CDS said the army does not have enough equipment to fight terrorism because year afterwards year not all the funds allocated for defense are used.
He also pointed out that civilians who colluded and supported terrorists by supplying them with supplies hindered military efforts to end the war.
Regarding the increase in the defense budget and the growing insecurity, he said there is a difference between the budget allocated and the budget released.
