The Edo State deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu has made his intention known to contest for the gubernatorial election in the state.
This was announced by the deputy governor in a TV broadcast today.
Shaibu immediately launched his campaign office in Benin city.
Shaibu will be contesting under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
