The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Monday confirmed Rev. Hyacinth Alia of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the duly elected governor of Benue State.
The Court of Appeal, in a unanimous decision by a three-judge panel, dismissed the appeal filed by PDP candidate, Mr. Titus Uba, to challenge the results of the governorship election held in the state in March 18 is baseless.
The Court held that there was no reason to set aside the judgment of the Court ordering the Benue State Governorship election, which ruled on September 23 that it had authenticated its victory in the Benue State Governorship election.
