Barcelona’s Gavi suffered a knee injury in Spain’s 3-1 win over Georgia. Barcelona midfielder Gavi limped off the field with a serious knee injury on Sunday during Spain’s Euro 2024 qualifying match against Georgia.
The 19-year-old was tackled from behind, deforming his knee where the weight was on him, before leaving the field in tears.
Gavi has established himself as a key figure for both Barcelona and the Spain national team over the past two years while studying at the club’s youth academy, La Masia.
